Who we are
TryPublish operates https://trypublish.site and the application at https://app.trypublish.site. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@trypublish.site.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and profile picture, from the email you sign up with or from your Google account if you sign in with Google.
- Workspace content: the articles, briefs, brand knowledge, sources, and site settings you create or upload.
- Connected account data: read-only metrics we fetch on your behalf from Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 once you connect them.
- Usage and delivery data: page views and request logs for the sites we publish for you, plus basic operational logs.
- Billing data: your subscription status and invoices. Card details go to our payment processor, never to us.
How we use it
- To run the product: generate, verify, publish, and host your content.
- To show you performance: clicks, impressions, and traffic for the articles you published.
- To keep the service secure and reliable: rate limiting, abuse prevention, and debugging.
- To bill you and to send transactional email such as sign-in codes and account notices.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your workspace content or your connected Google data to train machine learning models.
Google user data
If you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, we request only read-only scopes (webmasters.readonly and analytics.readonly). We use that access solely to read search and traffic metrics for the properties you select and show them back to you inside your workspace. We never write to, modify, or delete anything in your Google account.
TryPublish’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect the integration at any time from your workspace settings, which deletes the stored tokens immediately; you can also revoke access from your Google account permissions page.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to run the product, and share only what each one needs: Cloudflare and Vercel (hosting, storage, and delivery), Polar (payments and subscriptions), Resend (transactional email), and the AI, SEO, and content-verification providers that process the drafts you ask us to produce. We also disclose data where the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep your workspace data for as long as your account is active. Delete a workspace and its content is removed from our production systems; backups age out on their own schedule. To delete your whole account, email hello@trypublish.site and we will confirm once it is done.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@trypublish.site and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email.
